Denis L. Franklin

Denis L. Franklin is a devoted father of two children (including one savvy and aesthetically appealing son who also writes for Deaf Echo on occasion), Grandfather of twins, and a Modern day Renaissance man “jack of all trades.” In some of his previous lives, Denis attempted to play the role of “The Godfather” until a lack of Italian heritage was discovered. Denis was a former Chessmaster – but he struggled with dyslexia and often displaced his King and Queen. Denis played Bass Guitar in a prominent Metro Detroit area band, but that dream was forever deferred on the fateful day he took up the microphone and people heard him attempt to sing. Above all, Denis is a devoted reader, writer, and dreamer – pontificating always on life, family, and on traveling the world to discover the mystery of the perfect cup of espresso.
