DJ

Daniel is a deaf queer male in his early 20s from Utah. In his spare time, Daniel likes to watch terribly trashy and hilarious movies with friends, read every single book that exists under the sun, discuss social justice issues, play with his cat, explore the city or the mountains, groove to a nice beat, take weekend trips, and beat up video game baddies. In addition to DeafEcho, he blogs at http://movinghands.zubon.org. Daniel was born deaf and grew up learning cued speech. He learned ASL when he was eight years old and received a cochlear implant when he was nine years old.
